Patriot software™ can be private labeled and the Channel Partner can manage its access. SMC will support and maintain the system including hosting, if desired. In addition, SMC will work with the Channel Partner to customize the "products and/or services" that are integrated into the application.

Patriot Software™ is implemented using cascading software architecture. This architecture is based on an organization (the channel) defining their business hierarchy, site hierarchy and occupational hierarchy to accommodate the myriad of businesses and business infrastructures. More importantly however, the cascading architecture empowers the channel partner to be able to deliver real-time risk the extended enterprise, streamlining business processes and supporting collaboration.

Whether Patriot Software™ is provided through client-server licensing or via an application service environment (ASP), we are able to deploy Patriot Software™ more effectively across geographically dispersed organizations. The Web-centric architecture of our solution ensures that we can rapidly update our software to incorporate any new risk management information, methodologies or custom integration.

Patriot Software™ uses J2EE open-architecture with a mySQL backend. Other backend technology such as Oracle or DB2 can be used as well. Cross platform collaboration is achieved using XML. Patriot Software can merge data and real-time events from other corporate systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning, Supply Chain Management, and B2B platforms, with regulatory, corporate, and commercial EHS/Risk data, to create a singular planning and decision support environment.
